About the Role
Palton Morgan Holdings is a leading investment holding company managing diverse real estate and construction businesses in Nigeria through subsidiaries such as Propertymart Real Estate Investment, Grenadines Homes, Mcpalton, Mitcherutti Contractors, and Paltonloitte. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Head, Corporate Finance and Investor Relations to establish and lead our corporate finance division. This is a foundational leadership opportunity for a strategic thinker who excels at optimizing capital deployment, securing optimal funding terms, and building credible relationships with investors, rating agencies, and development finance institutions.
Key Responsibilities- Structure and successfully close fundraising initiatives across project finance, SPV equity, joint ventures, receivables financing, non-interest facilities, commercial paper, and bonds.
- Own the Group budget, rolling reforecasts, monthly management packs, and the comprehensive Group financial model.
- Develop and implement the Group investment policy while rigorously appraising all incoming projects prior to capital commitment.
- Establish the investor data room, refine the corporate equity story, and lead the organization through its inaugural corporate credit rating process.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team while personally driving initial transaction execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Relevant professional qualification such as CFA, ACA, ACCA, or an equivalent certification.
- 12 to 15 years of robust post-qualification experience with a verified track record of successfully closing major financial transactions.
- Extensive expertise spanning corporate finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and investor or lender relations.
- Strong background in real estate, infrastructure, or project finance underwriting within the Nigerian market.
- Demonstrated familiarity with Nigerian funding ecosystems including commercial banks, non-bank lenders, development finance institutions (DFIs), SEC, and FMDQ processes.
- Prior exposure to credit rating processes, commercial paper issuances, or corporate bond programmes is a distinct advantage.
