We are currently seeking a smart, driven, and detail-oriented Audit Intermediate to join our growing Audit & Assurance team in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the planning and execution of external audit engagements.
- Perform audit fieldwork, including testing of financial transactions and internal controls.
- Prepare accurate audit working papers and supporting documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and comprehensive audit reports.
- Identify audit issues and communicate findings effectively to senior team members.
- Ensure strict compliance with applicable accounting, auditing, and regulatory standards.
- Liaise professionally with clients during on-site and remote audit assignments.
- Support other assurance and advisory engagements as assigned by management.
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant external audit experience within a professional services or audit firm.
- Sound knowledge of IFRS, accounting principles, and auditing standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office productivity tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written or verbal communication skills.
- High level of integrity, keen attention to detail, and professional work ethic.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
