About the Role
SPIE Oil & Gas Services, a leading provider of technical expertise across upstream exploration, offshore and onshore production, and downstream refining and petrochemicals, seeks an experienced Head of Contracts, Planning & Control. With over 40 years of proven excellence, we deliver "Expert Hands" solutions to maintain and operate oil and gas assets globally. This pivotal role manages FM&A contract strategy, financial controls, and operational planning while ensuring compliance with our Company Management System.
Key Responsibilities- Define and maintain FM&A contract strategy including consolidation, sourcing models, and lifecycle planning
- Ensure all contracts align with scope of services, asset criticality, SLAs, and performance KPIs
- Monitor budget consumption, variances, and risks while preventing unplanned spending and payment delays
- Conduct weekly P2P coordination meetings with finance, technical departments, and sectional heads
- Develop short, medium, and long-term FM&A work programs for estates, power generation, fleet, and technical services
- Lead multi-year contract planning and anticipate contract cliffs and resource bottlenecks
- Manage monthly FM&A budget performance reporting and coordinate yearly financial performance reviews
- Participate in quarterly HSE CODEP meetings and ensure contractual inclusion of company safety standards
- Defend yearly financial performance during Sub-Committee and quarterly division meetings
- University Engineering Degree preferred with contracts management experience
- Minimum 10 years post-NYSC experience in similar role
- Strong leadership, administration, and organizational abilities
- Fluent English; French language is advantageous
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced computer expertise
