About the Role

We are currently seeking a strategic and results-driven Head, Commercial Finance & Business Performance to join our dynamic team in Lagos Island, Lagos. In this vital leadership role, you will act as a key business partner, driving commercial growth, optimizing profitability, and providing robust financial insights to guide executive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the commercial finance and FP&A functions to support overall business growth and strategic objectives.
- Develop comprehensive financial models, forecasts, and budgets to track business performance and identify revenue opportunities.
- Provide strategic business partnering across departments to drive cost efficiency and margin improvement.
- Analyze market trends, pricing strategies, and product profitability within the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector.
- Oversee financial reporting, variance analysis, and performance metrics delivery to senior management.
- Ensure effective utilization of ERP systems (preferably SAP) to streamline financial processes and data accuracy.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 5 years in a commercial finance, FP&A, or Business Finance leadership role.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Mandatory professional accounting certification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- An MBA or relevant postgraduate degree will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated industry experience in Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, FMCG, or Manufacturing.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analytics, and ERP systems such as SAP.
