About the Role
Dragnet Solutions is a dynamic Information Technology company specializing in innovative people screening and recruitment solutions. Since 2007, we have been at the forefront of creating objective recruitment processes to meet international standards as official partners to CIPM and NECA. We are currently looking for a strategic Head, Business Development & Managed Care to lead our healthcare management functions, optimize HMO and retainership schemes, and ensure seamless delivery of quality care combined with commercial sustainability.
Key Responsibilities- Direct the hospital and healthcare managed-care operations while strategically managing relationships with HMO and retainership partners.
- Oversee enrolee verification, pre-authorisation, referrals, and overall management of care within established scheme terms.
- Supervise claims preparation, submission, reconciliation, and rigorous follow-up to minimize rejections and payment delays.
- Monitor service-level agreements and lead the resolution of disputes with healthcare scheme partners.
- Coordinate closely with clinical teams to ensure patient care remains evidence-based, cost-effective, and fully compliant with scheme rules.
- Supervise, coach, and develop managed-care, clinical support, and customer experience personnel.
- Track managed-care performance and revenue streams, reporting actionable findings with targeted improvement recommendations.
- Champion exceptional enrolee experiences, prompt complaints resolution, and high retention rates across the entire function.
- A relevant first degree in health sciences, nursing, public health, business administration, or a related discipline.
- Completion of mandatory NYSC service or possession of a valid exemption certificate.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in managed care, HMO liaison, business development, or healthcare administration.
- Demonstrated expertise in health insurance, HMO operations, and hospital revenue-cycle management.
- Proven ability bridging clinical operations and commercial strategies within a healthcare environment.
