About the Role

Headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria, we are looking for a strategic Head, Business Continuity & Threat Intelligence to lead our enterprise-wide resilience initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will champion a best-in-class Business Continuity Management (BCM) culture, conduct proactive threat intelligence scanning, and ensure robust crisis management frameworks are operationalized across all business units to safeguard our people, assets, and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the enterprise business continuity function, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and global best practices.
  • Conduct daily emerging risk scanning and proactive threat intelligence to identify vulnerabilities, exposures, and global risks impacting the organization.
  • Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive business continuity materials, recovery plans, emergency response procedures, and call trees.
  • Plan and coordinate all business continuity testing, simulations, and disaster recovery drills across functional areas.
  • Lead the crisis management team during business interruptions, ensuring prompt incident reporting to the Group Chief Risk Officer (GCRO).
  • Drive continuous BCM awareness training and preparedness programs for staff across all levels of the organization.
  • Prepare high-quality periodic reports for EXCO, the Board, and the GCRO regarding business continuity status and emerging threats.

Qualifications
  • HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
  • Possession of Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP) certification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in risk management, insurance, or engineering within manufacturing or financial services.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of information security, business continuity standards, and financial metrics.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
