About the Role
The Dangote Group, Africa's leading diversified conglomerate, is seeking a strategic and results-driven Head, Business Continuity & Threat Intelligence to join our operational headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria. In this critical leadership role, you will spearhead our enterprise-wide business continuity management (BCM) framework, embedding a proactive resilience culture and ensuring robust threat intelligence operations across all business units.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the enterprise business continuity function, ensuring alignment with global standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct daily emerging risk scanning and threat intelligence to identify vulnerabilities, global risks, and organizational exposures.
- Direct the crisis management team during business interruptions, providing rapid status reports and maintaining incident escalation protocols.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee comprehensive business continuity testing, disaster recovery simulations, and call tree exercises across all functions.
- Develop and maintain recovery strategies, emergency response procedures, and robust disaster recovery plans for critical systems.
- Prepare high-quality periodic reports, daily emergency briefs, and strategic insights for EXCO, the Board, and the Group Chief Risk Officer (GCRO).
- HND or Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree or relevant professional qualifications in a related field will be a distinct advantage.
- Possession of Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP) certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in risk management, insurance, or engineering within the manufacturing or financial services sectors.
- Deep working knowledge of information security, business continuity frameworks, and financial metrics.
- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
