Cutting-Edge International Academy, a premier private educational institution located at GESSE Phase II, Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, is seeking a passionate and qualified Hausa Teacher. Key Responsibilities- Prepare comprehensive lesson notes and schemes of work prior to every class delivery.
- Deliver engaging, student-centred lessons that promote active learning and critical thinking.
- Administer, mark, and accurately record Continuous Assessment (CA) scores within stated deadlines.
- Identify struggling students promptly and provide targeted extra support to boost their performance.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and disciplined classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, school programmes, and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions.
- Submit lesson notes weekly to the Head of Department (HOD) for review and guidance.
- Support extracurricular clubs and school events to foster overall student growth.
- Possession of a B.Ed, B.Sc, or B.A with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), or any relevant teaching qualification.
- Mandatory TRCN registration or a strong willingness to register immediately upon employment.
- Demonstrated subject mastery of the Hausa language and solid classroom teaching experience.
- Familiarity with the NERDC curriculum as well as preparation standards for WAEC and NECO examinations.
- Strong command of English, with proficiency in Arabic Language serving as an added advantage.
- Good computer literacy skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous teaching experience and proven classroom management skills.
