We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Hausa Language Teacher to join our vibrant academic community on a part-time, on-site basis. In this role, you will help young learners discover and master the Hausa language through lively, interactive, and age-appropriate lessons. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive Hausa lessons and learning materials fully aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Teach scheduled on-site classes for 3 to 6 hours each week, ensuring high student engagement.
  • Adapt instructional activities to suit the developmental stages of Early Years and Primary pupils.
  • Facilitate simple conversation, reading, and writing exercises to build foundational language skills.
  • Monitor pupils' academic progress regularly and adjust teaching methods to support individual learning needs.
  • Utilize English proficiency effectively to explain new vocabulary and bridge understanding for young learners.
Qualifications
  • 2 to 4 years of proven teaching experience, specifically with young children in Early Years and Primary education.
  • Complete fluency in spoken and written Hausa, alongside strong English communication skills.
  • A relevant degree in Hausa language or a recognized teaching qualification is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in age-appropriate lesson design and curriculum-aligned instructional planning.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to maintaining discipline, diligence, and mutual respect.
