We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Hatchery Manager to oversee all aspects of our hatchery operations, ensuring efficient incubation, superior chick quality, and strict biosecurity compliance.Key Responsibilities- Manage daily hatchery operations and production schedules to meet organizational targets.
- Ensure optimal hatchability rates and maintain high standards of chick quality.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate hatchery staff to foster high performance and accountability.
- Enforce strict compliance with biosecurity protocols and operational procedures.
- Monitor incubation systems, hatchery equipment, and coordinate timely maintenance activities.
- Analyze hatchery performance data to generate comprehensive management reports.
- Oversee chick vaccination, processing, and safe dispatch operations.
- Drive operational efficiency, cost control, and continuous waste reduction initiatives.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Animal Science, Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of proven hatchery management experience within a reputable poultry organization.
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of modern hatchery operations, incubation systems, and biosecurity practices.
- Exceptional analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and operational reporting tools.
