About the Role
Obafemi Awolowo University, a prestigious public institution established in 1962 and located in Ile-Ife, Osun State, is seeking a reliable and diligent Hall Attendant to join our dynamic community. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining clean, safe, and orderly environments within our student residential halls, ensuring a comfortable living experience for our students.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of student residential halls, common areas, corridors, and restrooms.
- Monitor facility conditions, report maintenance issues or damages promptly to the appropriate department, and assist with minor repairs.
- Ensure proper waste management and disposal across assigned residential zones.
- Assist students with general inquiries and enforce hostel rules and regulations to maintain peace and order.
- Safeguard university property within the halls and report any security concerns or unauthorized access.
- Minimum of three O Level credit passes at one sitting, or four credit passes at two sittings, including English Language.
- Proven experience in housekeeping, facility maintenance, or a similar role is an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students and staff.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and physical fitness to handle routine janitorial tasks.
