About the Role
Denam Properties Limited is a leading real estate development and facility management company based in Abuja, Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dynamic, vigilant, and customer-focused Gym and Pool Instructor to join our team at DAL (Denam Apartments Limited). In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional guest experiences by maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment across our fitness and recreational amenities.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise guests using the swimming pool and gym facilities to ensure strict adherence to safety regulations.
- Provide basic guidance and instruction on the safe and proper use of gym equipment.
- Monitor pool activities closely, enforcing safety rules and responding swiftly to emergencies.
- Conduct routine inspections of gym equipment and pool facilities, reporting any faults promptly.
- Maintain organized, clean, and sanitary gym and pool areas at all times.
- Assist guests with basic fitness inquiries and ensure equipment is properly stored after use.
- Keep accurate daily logs of facility usage, maintenance issues, and safety incidents.
- Minimum of OND or SSCE qualification from a recognized institution.
- Proven prior experience as a gym instructor, fitness attendant, lifeguard, or similar hospitality role.
- Relevant certifications in fitness instruction, swimming, first aid, or safety management are a strong advantage.
- Strong physical fitness, stamina, and the ability to remain calm under pressure during emergencies.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
