We are currently seeking a strategic and visionary Group Head, Human Resources to provide executive leadership for our human capital function. In this pivotal role, you will champion workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development across all Group subsidiaries, ensuring our people strategy seamlessly aligns with our long-term business objectives and growth agenda.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive Group HR strategies aligned with corporate business plans and long-term expansion goals.
- Lead end-to-end talent management, including workforce planning, executive recruitment, high-impact retention strategies, and robust succession planning.
- Oversee performance management, competitive compensation and benefits structuring, and learning and development initiatives.
- Ensure strict compliance with Nigerian labor laws, regulatory standards, corporate governance, and best practice HR policies.
- Manage complex employee relations and industrial relations matters while fostering a positive, high-performance organizational culture.
- Partner closely with executive leadership to drive organizational transformation, change management, and continuous operational improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field; a Master's degree is strongly preferred.
- Mandatory professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or CIPD.
- 10 to 20 years of progressive HR experience, with substantial leadership tenure within manufacturing, steel, mining, energy, logistics, heavy industry, or conglomerate sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise in human capital strategy, HR governance, talent acquisition, and industrial relations within the Nigerian market.
