About the Role
Rivy is on a mission to make financial services seamless for African SMEs. We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our Marketing & Communications team and lead the development of high-quality visual assets across Rivy’s growing portfolio of brands and products. This role requires someone who understands brand strategy, audience engagement, communication hierarchy, and context to make thoughtful design decisions that strengthen our market positioning across both digital and offline channels.
Key Responsibilities- Develop high-quality creative assets for social media, digital campaigns, websites, emails, events, and presentations.
- Translate marketing objectives and campaign briefs into clear, compelling, and brand-aligned visual concepts for Rivy and products like EnergyStack.
- Own design projects independently from initial concept and creative direction through execution and final delivery.
- Conduct industry and visual research to ensure designs resonate with our target audience and maintain strong brand consistency.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and cross-functional teams to support product launches, brand initiatives, and business goals.
- Design offline marketing collateral including flyers, brochures, banners, and booth materials for events.
- Manage multiple design requests efficiently while maintaining organized files, templates, and brand assets.
- 2–4 years of professional graphic design experience within fintech, tech, financial services, energy, or agency environments.
- A robust portfolio showcasing exceptional brand and marketing design work across digital and print formats.
- Mastery of typography, layout, composition, visual hierarchy, and color theory.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, alongside working knowledge of Figma and other modern design tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and the ability to iterate quickly based on constructive feedback.
