About the Role

We are currently looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented PCR Graphics Operator to join our production team in Abuja. In this crucial role, you will manage live on-air graphics and ensure the seamless delivery of accurate visuals when it matters most, contributing directly to our high-standard broadcast operations.
Key Responsibilities- Operate real-time on-air graphics systems during live broadcast productions ensuring precision and timing.
- Collaborate closely with producers, directors, and technical crew to execute visual requirements seamlessly.
- Design, update, and manage lower thirds, full screens, tickers, and other graphic elements using Adobe Photoshop and broadcast software.
- Perform quality checks on all graphic assets before live transmission to prevent errors.
- Troubleshoot graphics equipment and software issues swiftly under high-pressure live broadcast conditions.
- Maintain and organize graphic templates in alignment with News Central TV brand guidelines.
- Proven professional experience working as a graphics operator in a fast-paced live broadcast environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and standard broadcast CG (Character Generator) systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to thrive in a collaborative newsroom setting.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, maintain high attention to detail, and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with newsroom automation systems and video production workflows in Nigeria.
