Key Responsibilities
  • Research and identify viable grant opportunities from international donors, foundations, NGOs, governmental agencies, and corporate partners.
  • Develop persuasive grant proposals, concept notes, logical frameworks, and comprehensive funding applications aligned with organizational goals.
  • Manage the entire grant lifecycle, including tracking strict deadlines, organizing documentation, and coordinating timely submissions.
  • Support rigorous donor reporting, compliance monitoring, and impact assessment reporting to maintain accountability.
  • Maintain and cultivate strong professional relationships with funding partners to support long-term organizational fundraising strategies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, English, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in grant writing, fundraising, proposal development, or professional research roles.
  • Strong writing, research, storytelling, and analytical skills with the ability to articulate complex social impact concepts clearly.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • Prior experience working within the education, nonprofit, social impact, or startup sectors in Nigeria is a distinct advantage.
