About the Role
Reliable Steel and Plastic Industry Limited, a leading manufacturing company incorporated in 1998, is seeking a motivated and technically inclined Graduate Trainee - IT to join our dynamic team in Onitsha, Anambra State. Key Responsibilities- Assist with the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Local Area Networks (LAN) and perform basic cable termination.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, printers, monitors, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
- Provide first-level technical support to staff, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues promptly.
- Carry out routine preventive maintenance on computers and maintain accurate records of IT assets and equipment repairs.
- Support data backups, system updates, antivirus installations, and general IT security practices across the organization.
- Assist with additional tasks such as CCTV maintenance, website support, or digital media tasks if skilled.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Must have completed the NYSC scheme and possess a valid discharge certificate.
- 1 to 2 years of practical experience in IT support, networking, or a related technical role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, LAN configuration, and IT hardware troubleshooting.
- Must be willing to relocate to Onitsha, Anambra State, and attend an in-person interview.
