About the Role
Plantation Industries Limited is a leading cocoa processing factory located in Akure, Ondo State, right in the heart of Nigeria’s cocoa-growing belt. As an offshoot of Agro Traders Limited, we pride ourselves on responsible sourcing and delivering high-quality cocoa products to the international market. We are currently seeking ambitious, driven early-career professionals for our Graduate Trainee programme in Corporate Services and Sustainability to help shape the future of our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in structured rotations across corporate services, human resources, health, safety, and environment (HSE), ESG, and sustainability functions.
- Analyze operational data, prepare comprehensive reports, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to international food safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Execute a defined capstone project with measurable outcomes to present to the management team.
- Support daily administrative and technical tasks associated with corporate sustainability and social responsibility goals.
- Bachelor degree or HND in Social Sciences, Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Data-related disciplines, Human Resources, HSE, ESG, or Business Analytics.
- Completed NYSC or currently serving with a clear and verified completion date.
- Not more than two to three years of post-NYSC experience.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and written communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated traits of curiosity, ownership, rigour, practicality, and high integrity.
- Willingness to be based in Akure, Ondo State, and operate within a manufacturing environment.
