About the Role
Plantation Industries Limited is a leading cocoa processing factory located in Akure, Ondo State, right in the heart of Nigeria’s cocoa-growing belt. As an offshoot of Agro Traders Limited, we supply high-quality cocoa products to the international market. We are currently seeking a driven and analytical Graduate Trainee to join our Quality, Laboratory & Food Safety team and help us maintain our rigorous international standards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine and specialized laboratory analysis on raw materials and finished cocoa products.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality assurance, quality control, and food safety standards.
- Participate in product development initiatives and assist in compliance audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across manufacturing processes to investigate variances and resolve quality issues.
- Maintain accurate data records and utilize Microsoft Office tools to generate comprehensive technical reports.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Microbiology, Food Science & Technology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- Must have completed NYSC or currently serving with a clear completion date.
- Not more than two to three years post-NYSC experience.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated curiosity, ownership, rigour, practicality, and absolute integrity.
- Willingness to reside in Akure, Ondo State, and thrive in a dynamic manufacturing plant environment.
