MeWe Electronics, a foremost Nigerian brand of electronics and household appliances, is seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our growing team as a Graduate Trainee in Civil Structure. In this role, you will work alongside seasoned professionals to support the design, analysis, and execution of civil and structural elements for our building and industrial projects, taking them smoothly from concept through detailed design.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the structural analysis and design of foundations, steel and concrete structures, and general civil works.
- Prepare, review, and update accurate structural drawings, detailed calculations, and technical specifications.
- Support design coordination and collaboration with mechanical, electrical, and other engineering disciplines.
- Assist with site technical queries, material inspections, and design verification processes.
- Conduct research and compile technical data to support ongoing and upcoming company infrastructure projects.
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Civil Engineering with a minimum of a Second Class Upper (2:1) grade or equivalent.
- Fresh graduates or young professionals with up to one year of post-graduation experience looking to build a solid career foundation.
- Working knowledge and foundational understanding of structural design software such as STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, and Revit will be a distinct advantage.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with a proactive attitude toward learning.
- Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) registration in view is a strong plus.
