About the Role

Stockgap Fuels Limited is a prominent player in Nigeria's downstream oil and gas sector, specializing in the distribution of refined petroleum products and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). As part of our talent development strategy, we are currently seeking dynamic, high-potential young graduates to join our intensive One-Year Graduate Internship Program. This opportunity is designed to provide recent graduates with structured on-the-job training, mentorship, and cross-functional exposure across key business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Interns will undergo planned rotations across various departments to gain comprehensive industry exposure. Core responsibilities include:

  • Support cylinder filling, depot operations, inventory management, and nationwide logistics coordination.
  • Assist with distributor relationship management, market expansion, sales data analysis, and trade marketing.
  • Support the implementation of HSE policies in compliance with NMDPRA and ISPS Code requirements, including safety drills and audits.
  • Assist HR with recruitment, payroll, and training administration, alongside supporting Finance with budgeting and vendor management.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following mandatory criteria to be considered for the internship program:

  • Minimum of a Second-Class Upper Division (2:1) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university in Engineering, Sciences, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Must not be more than 27 years of age at the time of application.
  • Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or possess an exemption certificate.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, proficiency in MS Office suite, excellent communication skills, and high integrity.
  • Possess a self-driven attitude, strong teamwork spirit, willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment, and readiness for nationwide deployment.
