Key Responsibilities- Assist senior academic staff in the delivery of undergraduate mathematics lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions.
- Grade assignments, quizzes, and examinations under the supervision of lead faculty members.
- Provide academic support, mentoring, and guidance to students needing extra help with mathematical concepts.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, curriculum development discussions, and institutional research initiatives.
- Conduct independent and collaborative research to contribute to the academic reputation of the college.
- Perform administrative and departmental duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a closely related discipline with a First Class or Second Class Upper Division.
- Must possess a valid NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Letter.
- Strong foundational knowledge of advanced and applied mathematics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in using modern educational technology and basic office productivity software.
