Key Responsibilities
  • Assist senior academic staff in the delivery of lectures, seminars, and tutorials in International Law and Jurisprudence.
  • Conduct rigorous academic research and contribute to scholarly publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
  • Grade undergraduate assignments, quizzes, and examinations under the supervision of senior faculty members.
  • Provide academic support, guidance, and mentorship to undergraduate law students during designated office hours.
  • Participate actively in departmental meetings, faculty seminars, and university-wide academic committees.
  • Perform administrative duties assigned by the Head of Department to ensure the smooth running of the academic unit.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M.) with a strong specialization in International Law, Jurisprudence, or a closely related field from a recognized university.
  • Must possess a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree and have been called to the Nigerian Bar (B.L.).
  • Demonstrated strong passion for academic research, teaching, and professional development in legal education.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in academic discourse.
  • High standards of professional ethics, integrity, and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse academic community.
