Key Responsibilities- Assist senior academic staff in the delivery of undergraduate lectures, laboratory practical sessions, and tutorials.
- Participate actively in departmental research projects focused on food science, technology, and innovation.
- Supervise student laboratory work, ensure safety compliance, and maintain equipment within the food processing laboratories.
- Grade assignments, quizzes, and examinations under the guidance of course coordinators.
- Provide academic support and mentoring to undergraduate students within the department.
- Perform administrative duties and departmental tasks as assigned by the Head of Department.
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.
- Demonstrated potential for academic research and publication in reputable journals.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in modern food processing techniques and laboratory safety protocols.
- Must possess a valid NYSC discharge certificate or exemption letter.
