Key Responsibilities- Assist senior academic staff in the delivery of undergraduate lectures, tutorials, and laboratory practical sessions.
- Participate actively in departmental research projects, data collection, and academic publications.
- Grade assignments, quizzes, and examinations under the supervision of course coordinators.
- Provide academic support, mentoring, and guidance to undergraduate Civil Engineering students.
- Manage departmental administrative tasks and coordinate laboratory equipment maintenance as assigned by the Head of Department.
- Engage in continuous professional development and pursue further doctoral studies in alignment with university guidelines.
- Possession of a minimum of a Master Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Demonstrated strong academic background with excellent undergraduate and postgraduate academic records.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and computational skills relevant to modern civil engineering software and practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrable passion for teaching and academic research.
- Membership or eligibility for registration with relevant professional bodies such as COREN is an added advantage.
