Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in Government and related social science subjects to secondary school students.
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and schemes of work in line with national educational standards.
- Assess, monitor, and record students' academic progress, providing constructive feedback to support their continuous improvement.
- Foster a disciplined, inclusive, and positive classroom environment conducive to learning and critical thinking.
- Participate actively in school events, staff meetings, extracurricular activities, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Mentor students and instill Christian values, ethical behavior, and civic responsibility.
- Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), B.Sc, or B.A in Political Science, Government, Education, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of cognate teaching experience in a recognized secondary school.
- Proven knowledge of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum and WAEC/NECO examination preparations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Strong moral character, patience, and a commitment to Christian educational values.
- TRCN certification will be an added advantage.
