About the Role
Bloomseed Elementary School is a happy, vibrant nursery and primary school equipped with world-class facilities, located in Ibara, Abeokuta. We provide an exciting, balanced education for children aged 3 to 11, blending modern learning environments with traditional values and God-fearing morals. We are currently looking for a dedicated English Teacher to inspire our pupils and help them develop exceptional literacy and communication skills to excel in any environment.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive English lessons tailored to the learning needs of nursery and primary students.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans in alignment with the school curriculum, focusing on reading, writing, grammar, and comprehension.
- Assess, monitor, and record students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that encourages participation and builds confidence.
- Instil strong moral values and discipline in line with the ethos of Bloomseed Elementary School.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Maintain regular and professional communication with parents regarding student performance and development.
- Possess a relevant academic qualification in English Education, Education, or a related field.
- Proven teaching experience within a nursery or primary school setting.
- Strong command of the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Passionate about child development with a patient, creative, and nurturing teaching approach.
