Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in Government in accordance with the approved curriculum.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom management style that encourages active student participation.
  • Assess, monitor, and record students' academic progress, providing constructive feedback to support their continuous improvement.
  • Prepare students effectively for internal examinations as well as external SSCE examinations.
  • Participate actively in school meetings, professional development workshops, and co-curricular school activities.
  • Collaborate cordially with colleagues, school management, and parents to promote the overall growth and values of the school.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in Government or a related relevant field.
  • Proven prior teaching experience with a strong grasp of secondary school Government curricula.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain discipline and inspire students.
  • A strong alignment with the Christian values and ethos of King's Gifts School.
