Racham Humanitarian Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our educational and youth empowerment initiative in Abuja. Run by the Racham Empowerment and Humanitarian Foundation (REHF), our academy provides free basic education and practical skills training to orphans, vulnerable children, and youths in Nigeria. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and structured English language lessons to youths, orphans, and vulnerable children.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the academy's educational objectives and the needs of diverse learners.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement in literacy and communication skills.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation and builds student confidence.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and program coordinators to integrate practical skills and digital literacy into the curriculum.
- Participate in community outreach and youth empowerment activities organized by the foundation.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), Bachelor of Arts in Education (B.A.Ed.), or a relevant Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree.
- Exceptional fluency in the English language, both written and spoken, with a strong ability to communicate effectively.
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience, particularly with underprivileged youth or in humanitarian settings, is an added advantage.
- Deep passion for community development, youth empowerment, and humanitarian education initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect compassionately with vulnerable children and teenagers.
