We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Government and History Teacher to join our dynamic academic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will act as both a tutor and a nurturer extraordinaire, creating an engaging learning environment that fosters critical thinking, academic excellence, and civic responsibility among our students.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in Government and History, ensuring adherence to high educational standards.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support to enhance learning outcomes.
- Create stimulating lesson plans and utilize digital tools, including Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, to enrich classroom instruction.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that supports the holistic development of every child.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to track student growth and participate in school developmental activities.
- Possess a very good University degree in Education, History, Political Science, or a related field (a Master’s Degree will be an added advantage).
- Demonstrate a deep and thorough grasp of Government and History subject contents.
- Must be fully computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, alongside strong internet research skills.
- Certifications in the British Curriculum will be a significant added advantage.
