Anthony White Bridge Academy, a foremost co-educational private Nursery, Primary, and Secondary school located in Mowe, Ogun State, is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Government/Civic Teacher to join its academic team. Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured Government and Civic Education lessons in line with the approved curriculum.
- Develop students' understanding of governance, political systems, civic duties, and national values.
- Create engaging teaching materials, assessments, and classroom activities that promote critical thinking and active participation.
- Monitor and evaluate students' academic performance, providing timely feedback and support.
- Prepare students adequately for internal and external examinations, ensuring excellent academic outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
- Collaborate with other teachers and departments to enhance the overall academic experience.
- Foster a disciplined, inclusive, and conducive learning environment.
- Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and extracurricular activities as required.
- B.Ed, B.Sc, PGDE, or M.Sc in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years teaching experience in top-flight schools.
- Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification is compulsory.
- Strong knowledge of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum for Government/Civic Education.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
