We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Government and History Teacher to join our esteemed academic team and deliver engaging lessons that spark intellectual curiosity.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Government and History lessons to secondary school students.
- Develop lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum and school educational standards.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate records.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
- Participate in school extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Guide students in critical thinking and analytical skills regarding historical events and civic responsibilities.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), B.A, B.Sc, or equivalent relevant qualifications in History, Political Science, or related fields.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant teaching experience in a recognized secondary school.
- Sound knowledge of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum for Government and History.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong passion for teaching and molding young minds with high ethical standards.
