About the Role
One Acre Fund is a premier nonprofit organization dedicated to supplying smallholder farmers in East Africa with asset-based financing and agricultural training services to reduce hunger and poverty. We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Global GR Operations and Systems Specialist to strengthen Government Relations (GR) processes, champion skills development, and coordinate critical donor workflows across a 100-person international team. This is an exciting opportunity for an operations professional to drive organizational efficiency and impactful stakeholder engagement on a global scale.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs our Global GR Operations and Systems Specialist, you will play a central role in optimizing our team's operational framework. Your core duties will include:
- Manage leadership meetings, team retreats, and the global performance management calendar while developing high-impact briefings and talking points for leadership.
- Coordinate the rollout of compliance tools across multiple country operations.
- Run department-wide learning initiatives, including skills academies and mentorship programs, while partnering globally on cross-functional projects.
- Oversee the implementation, adoption, and effective use of CRM software and advisory councils across various country teams.
- Audit stakeholder engagement regularly and recommend actionable improvements.
- Serve as the primary administrative and logistical liaison between the Government Relations and Business Development teams for major public donor processes such as GCF and GAC.
- Track donor activities, secure essential government approvals, and ensure seamless data flow across departments.
We are looking for a collaborative, detail-oriented professional who aligns with our mission and brings the following expertise:
- Bachelor Degree in a relevant field of study.
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in an operations, coordination, or team-facing administrative role.
- Demonstrated project management and advanced problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail complemented by exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to build alignment across diverse, multicultural teams.
