Key Responsibilities- Operate, monitor, and manage industrial diesel generators safely and efficiently to maintain a steady power supply.
- Conduct thorough daily routine checks, preventive maintenance, and basic mechanical or electrical troubleshooting.
- Continuously monitor fuel levels, oil pressure, coolant temperatures, and other critical operating parameters.
- Identify, document, and report technical faults, abnormalities, or potential failures promptly to the maintenance team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs of generator run-hours, fuel consumption, and servicing activities.
- Ensure strict compliance with company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and operational guidelines.
- Minimum of an SSCE, OND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 2 to 3 years of proven hands-on experience operating industrial generators, preferably within an FMCG or manufacturing environment in Nigeria.
- Solid working knowledge of diesel generator systems, basic electrical wiring, and preventive maintenance protocols.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and effective troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical issues.
- Willingness to work flexible shift schedules and perform duties under minimal supervision.
