About the Role
PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc, a leading multinational consumer goods manufacturer of iconic brands such as Imperial Leather, Morning Fresh, and Thermocool, is looking for a dedicated and results-driven Boiler Technician (Electrical) to join our dynamic site services team. Key Responsibilities- Perform prompt maintenance and repairs on gas and diesel generators, air compressors, and boilers to eliminate downtime.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance (PPM) on all substation transformers, breakers, and fire hydrant equipment.
- Service substation tripping units and ensure continuous DC power supply for reliable relay operations.
- Monitor, repair, and replace energy meters across all substations while ensuring electrical safety compliance.
- Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly energy reports, KPI tracking documents, and generator status logs for management review.
- Collaborate with subordinates to execute plant operations, troubleshoot complex equipment issues, and ensure spare parts availability.
- Actively participate in audit checklists and maintain accurate, timely operational records.
- Minimum of an ND, HND, or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or related engineering disciplines.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a similar technical role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
