About the Role
TeamAce Limited is seeking a strategic and results-driven General Manager (Plant / Factory HR) to lead all human resources operations within our manufacturing plant. In this vital leadership role, you will partner with plant executives to optimize workforce performance, foster positive industrial relations, and drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the facility.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive plant HR strategies encompassing workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, and succession planning.
- Lead industrial and employee relations by proactively managing grievances, disciplinary procedures, labour negotiations, and stakeholder engagements.
- Collaborate closely with plant leadership to optimize manpower utilization, streamline organizational structures, and manage workforce costs effectively.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian labour laws, internal HR policies, health, safety, and environment (HSE) standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Mentor, lead, and develop the plant HR team while championing change management and employee engagement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related discipline (Master's degree is an advantage).
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong focus on managing HR operations within a manufacturing, plant, or heavy industrial environment.
- Professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Deep expertise in industrial relations, labour law compliance, performance management, and organizational development.
