About the Role
Genesis Group, a leading Nigerian conglomerate spanning hospitality, entertainment, and industrial catering, is seeking a strategic and results-driven General Manager, Logistics to lead our nationwide supply chain operations. In this executive role, you will direct our complete supply chain network, managing advanced warehousing facilities, transport fleets, and complex inventory flows to support our diverse business units.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily transport, routing, and warehouse storage facilities to guarantee seamless distribution across all channels.
- Track fuel expenses, vehicle upkeep, and overall supply chain spending to maintain strict budget and cost control.
- Supervise logistics staff, drivers, and shift coordinators, fostering a high-performance culture focused on safety and efficiency.
- Negotiate carrier pricing and service level agreements with key vendors and third-party logistics providers.
- Track performance metrics such as on-time delivery rates and fleet usage to drive continuous process optimization.
- Ensure total safety compliance and adherence to regulatory standards across all distribution and storage channels.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant professional certification is an advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in logistics and supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a large-scale Nigerian enterprise.
