About the Role
Akintola Williams Deloitte is seeking a strategic and dynamic General Manager, HR & General Services to lead our integrated corporate support functions. In this pivotal executive role, you will provide visionary leadership across Human Resources, Procurement, Administration, and Security, ensuring our operations run safely, efficiently, and competitively.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive HR, procurement, and security strategies aligned with the company's overarching business objectives and growth plans.
- Oversee end-to-end talent management, employee relations, statutory compliance, compensation, and organizational culture development.
- Drive strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract administration, and inventory governance to achieve optimal cost savings.
- Manage corporate facilities, travel, fleet services, and administrative expenditures to maintain high internal service standards.
- Implement robust security strategies and risk frameworks to safeguard personnel, assets, facilities, and downstream petroleum operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline; an MBA or relevant Master's degree is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of professional experience, including at least 7 years in a senior management or executive leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing multi-functional corporate support teams within the oil and gas, downstream petroleum, marine, or heavy industrial sectors.
- Professional certifications such as CIPM, CIPD, CIPS, or MCIPS are a distinct advantage.
- Exceptional competence in strategic thinking, cost optimization, change management, and regulatory compliance under Nigerian labor and procurement laws.
