About the Role
Neveah Limited, a leading commodities trading and manufacturing company in Nigeria, is seeking an experienced, results-driven General Manager to provide exceptional leadership and operational direction for our expanding plastic manufacturing business. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving overall business performance, operational excellence, profitability, workforce effectiveness, and sustainable growth across the organization, ensuring we consistently meet our strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the company's manufacturing and commercial operations.
- Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies that support revenue growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
- Oversee production, sales, procurement, finance, logistics, quality assurance, and maintenance functions.
- Drive production efficiency, maximize capacity utilization, implement strict cost controls, and champion waste reduction initiatives.
- Monitor key performance indicators and ensure all departments achieve their agreed targets.
- Develop and manage annual operating plans, budgets, and performance objectives.
- Ensure effective inventory, raw material, and finished-goods management alongside robust supply chain processes.
- Ensure strict compliance with all applicable regulatory, environmental, health, safety, and quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with customers, suppliers, and key business stakeholders.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing management team to achieve organizational goals.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Management, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 8 to 12 years of relevant professional experience, with significant senior leadership in manufacturing operations.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a manufacturing business or large-scale production facility.
- Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes, cost management, and commercial operations.
- Demonstrated ability in achieving revenue, profitability, and operational targets.
- Direct experience in the plastic manufacturing industry will be a distinct and strong advantage.
