About the Role
PE Lifts Services Ltd is a premier provider of innovative vertical transportation solutions, specializing in the design, installation, maintenance, and modernization of diverse elevator systems across Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead and aggressively grow our elevator maintenance, repairs, modernization, and Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) business lines. This is a critical leadership position for a visionary technical-commercial expert ready to scale our service operations and elevate our market presence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all elevator maintenance, repairs, breakdown response, and daily service operations to ensure optimal system uptime.
- Grow the company's AMC portfolio, drive contract renewals, and maximize recurring service revenue.
- Develop lucrative third-party maintenance and elevator modernization business opportunities.
- Manage, mentor, and inspire service engineers, technicians, supervisors, and administrative support teams.
- Oversee strict preventive maintenance schedules, technical quality standards, workplace safety, and high customer satisfaction.
- Control AMC pricing, operating budgets, cost efficiencies, profit margins, and overall financial profitability.
- Lead complex major repairs and modernization projects from inception to successful completion.
- Manage key client relationships and proactively resolve escalated technical or service delivery issues.
- Establish robust service processes, performance KPIs, reporting frameworks, and operational controls.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- An MBA or relevant postgraduate management qualification will be a distinct advantage.
- 8 to 15+ years of progressive relevant experience, with a strong focus on the elevator and vertical transportation industry.
- Proven expertise managing elevator maintenance, multi-brand systems, and comprehensive service operations.
- Demonstrated success in managing AMC portfolios, driving contract renewals, and ensuring high customer retention.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven capabilities in budgeting, P&L management, and spare-parts inventory control.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
