About the Role
Ebekendy Hotel & Suites is a premier modern accommodation located in the heart of Port Harcourt, Rivers State. We are currently seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and experienced General Manager to lead our management team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, upholding our high standards of hospitality, maximizing revenue, and fostering a welcoming environment for both local and international guests.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments.
- Develop and implement effective operational strategies to maximize room occupancy, revenue, and overall profitability.
- Maintain exceptional standards of customer service, promptly addressing and resolving guest feedback or issues.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate hotel staff to ensure peak performance and adherence to brand standards.
- Manage budgeting, financial forecasting, expense control, and inventory management.
- Ensure full compliance with local health, safety, sanitation, and security regulations.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven working experience as a General Manager or in a senior leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- Candidates must currently reside in or near GRA, Port Harcourt, for ease of commute.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent financial acumen with a track record of meeting revenue targets.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
