About the Role
Mariston Hotel & Suites is a premier, upscale hospitality establishment strategically positioned along Adeolu Williams Avenue, NTA Road in Oba-Ile, Akure North, Ondo State. Operating under our core philosophy of Hospitality At Its Finest, we cater to corporate executives and discerning leisure travelers seeking an elite and serene environment. We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead our management team and elevate our operational standards to new heights.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and oversee all hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments.
- Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to achieve financial targets, revenue growth, and high occupancy rates.
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by maintaining rigorous quality standards and promptly addressing any guest feedback or issues.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate department heads and hotel staff to foster a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Manage budgeting, financial forecasting, expense control, and inventory management in alignment with ownership objectives.
- Ensure full compliance with local regulatory standards, health codes, safety protocols, and hospitality industry best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive management experience in a reputable hotel or upscale hospitality establishment.
- Proven track record of improving operational efficiency, driving revenue, and maintaining high service standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and financial reporting tools.
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Akure, Ondo State.
