About the Role
Neveah Limited is a leading commodities trading and manufacturing company established in 2014, with our head office in Abuja, Nigeria. We are currently seeking an experienced, results-driven General Manager to provide comprehensive leadership and operational direction for our plastic manufacturing business. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving business performance, operational efficiency, workforce effectiveness, and sustainable growth across the organization in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the company's manufacturing and commercial operations.
- Develop and execute business strategies that support revenue growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
- Oversee production, sales, procurement, finance, logistics, quality assurance, and maintenance functions.
- Drive production efficiency, capacity utilization, strict cost control, and waste reduction.
- Monitor key performance indicators and ensure all departments achieve agreed strategic targets.
- Develop and manage annual operating plans, comprehensive budgets, and organizational performance objectives.
- Ensure effective inventory management and strengthen procurement, supply chain, and vendor processes.
- Guarantee full compliance with applicable regulatory, environmental, health, safety, and quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, business partners, and regulatory authorities.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the management team to foster a high-performance corporate culture.
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Management, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
- 8 to 12 years of relevant professional experience, with significant senior leadership in manufacturing operations.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a manufacturing business or large-scale production facility.
- Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes, cost management, and commercial operations.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency targets.
- Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, financial acumen, and stakeholder management skills.
- Direct experience within the plastic manufacturing industry will be a distinct and strong advantage.
