About the Role
FMR Agency is seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead the overall operations of our PVC pipes manufacturing facility. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for scaling production capabilities, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring that our operations align with our strategic business objectives. Key Responsibilities- Oversee end-to-day operations of the PVC pipe manufacturing factory, including production, maintenance, and quality control.
- Develop and execute comprehensive production plans to consistently meet or exceed output targets.
- Ensure the efficient utilization of machinery while minimizing downtime, material waste, and production defects.
- Manage, mentor, and evaluate factory staff, supervisors, and operational teams to foster high productivity and accountability.
- Collaborate closely with procurement and warehouse teams to maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
- Enforce strict adherence to workplace health, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor production costs and implement strategic cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
- Prepare and present detailed operational reports to upper management, offering actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Minimum of 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity within a PVC pipes manufacturing factory.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of PVC pipe extrusion processes, machinery, and factory workflows.
- Demonstrated expertise in quality assurance, preventive maintenance, and inventory management.
- Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills under pressure.
