In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering our enquiry-based curriculum, equipping students with essential 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical reasoning while preparing them for academic and lifelong success.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated, and age-appropriate Further Mathematics lessons in alignment with the school curriculum and international standards.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans, teaching resources, and learning activities that promote active and cooperative learning.
- Utilize a variety of modern teaching strategies to address the diverse learning needs and abilities of all students.
- Promote critical thinking, creativity, and independent learning through project-based and inquiry-based approaches.
- Integrate appropriate educational technology and instructional resources effectively into the learning environment.
- Maintain effective classroom management and uphold high standards of student behavior and positive engagement.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students constructively.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree is an added advantage).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience teaching Further Mathematics at the secondary school level.
- Strong understanding of both Nigerian and international curricula and modern educational methodologies.
