Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Microbiology to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Develop and update course curricula, teaching materials, and assessment methods in line with NUC standards.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects, laboratory work, and academic dissertations.
- Conduct high-quality research, publish findings in peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to the university's academic reputation.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committees, meetings, and academic events.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students.
- Must be a PhD holder in Microbiology or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Demonstrated evidence of teaching experience at the tertiary level will be an added advantage.
- A solid track record of academic publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
