Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Biochemistry.
- Design, update, and evaluate course curricula in alignment with NUC standards and industry best practices.
- Conduct high-impact research, publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals, and secure research grants.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects, dissertations, and academic theses.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students to ensure their holistic success.
- Participate actively in departmental, faculty, and university-wide committee meetings and administrative duties.
- Contribute to community development initiatives and collaborative partnerships aligned with the university's mission.
- Must hold a PhD degree in Biochemistry or a closely related relevant discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
- Demonstrated evidence of scholarly publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
- Previous teaching or research experience in a tertiary institution is a strong added advantage.
- Proficiency in modern teaching methodologies, e-learning platforms, and laboratory techniques.
