About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a dynamic and sales-driven Furniture Showroom Officer to join our client's retail team in Nigeria. In this role, you will serve as the primary brand ambassador inside the showroom, engaging clients, showcasing premium furniture designs, and translating enquiries into successful transactions while ensuring an immaculate shopping environment.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome and attend to walk-in customers warmly, assessing their interior design needs and recommending suitable furniture pieces.
- Explain product features, pricing, materials, warranties, and customization options clearly and professionally.
- Drive showroom sales proactively to consistently achieve and surpass assigned monthly and quarterly targets.
- Follow up promptly with prospective clients, leads, and quotations to convert inquiries into confirmed sales.
- Maintain proper merchandising, arrangement, and aesthetic presentation of all furniture and home decor products.
- Process customer orders accurately and coordinate seamlessly with logistics and delivery teams for timely dispatch.
- Maintain detailed, accurate records of daily sales, customer interactions, and inventory transactions.
- Monitor competitor pricing and market trends, providing constructive feedback to management.
- Ensure the showroom remains clean, organized, well-lit, and presentable to visitors at all times.
- Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of proven experience in showroom sales, retail sales, furniture merchandising, or customer service.
- Exceptional verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a pleasant, confident personality.
- Target-driven mindset with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Working proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for daily reporting and record keeping.
