About the Role
RA Trading (R.A. Think Design), Nigeria's foremost Israeli-Nigerian manufacturer of custom interior designs and bespoke furniture, is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Furniture Installer/Carpenter to join our growing production team. In this role, you will work in our modern factory and on-site locations to cut, fabricate, and install high-end wooden and structured products that meet our exacting quality standards for residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and design specifications for custom furniture.
- Select, measure, and inspect appropriate materials including wood, metal, and hardware.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery to cut, shape, and assemble parts.
- Ensure all joints are secure, structures are stable, and finished pieces align with client expectations.
- Conduct on-site installation of furniture and interior structures safely and professionally.
- Inspect completed pieces for accuracy, making necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Collaborate effectively with interior designers, fellow carpenters, and finishing teams.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere strictly to safety guidelines and PPE usage.
- Minimum of SSCE qualification paired with the completion of a recognized apprenticeship.
- At least 5 years of proven professional experience as a carpenter or furniture installer.
- Relevant trade test certifications will be an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a meticulous eye for detail.
