About the Role
UnoCasa Limited is searching for an ambitious and skilled Fund / Management Accountant to join our energetic startup team of 7-10 people. As our first dedicated finance professional, you will take absolute ownership of the valuation, compliance, and financial control of our expanding investment portfolios in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities- Compute daily and periodic Net Asset Value (NAV) for mutual funds and discretionary portfolios while reconciling cash and positions with custodians and brokers.
- Lead the preparation of statutory returns including AQR, weekly reports, and quarterly reports, ensuring strict adherence to SEC Nigeria Rules, ISA 2025, and NFIU AML/CFT frameworks.
- Monitor fund liquidity closely and oversee the seamless settlement of trades and vendor payments.
- Develop robust performance dashboards and variance analyses to support accurate budgeting and forecasting.
- Implement stringent internal controls and proactively identify and mitigate operational and valuation risks.
- B.Sc. degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional certification or in-view status with ICAN or ACCA.
- 3 to 7 years of specialized experience in fund accounting, investment banking, or asset management.
- Deep understanding of SEC Nigeria Rules, IFRS standards, and financial modeling.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and specialized fund accounting software.
